I finally succumbed to temptation of La Madeleine's Caramel Cream Puff. I've been avoiding it like plague for two months and now I caved in. Rich and absolutely heavenly, unfortunately, there's a down side. Once your consciousness goes back to earth, you'll find your thighs a tad bigger. Twisted Evil

I've been snacking on Krispy Kreme's chocolate covered creme filled donuts lately. Can't eat too many though. Smile

Took advantage of the Swiss Colony thingie on SlickDeals. Petit Four thingies are pretty good, except they must be horrendously bad for you.

When it comes to sweet stuff, I'm all about Smarties. And not those gross things americans call smarties, but the REAL thing. Better than M & M's by far. Oh sweet sweet chocolately candy coated goodness of the gods.

LOL...is it weird when I say I can't stand the taste of chocolates? For some reason, it tastes really bitter, but I like white chocolates though. I have the weirdest tastes buds ever because I like chocolate milk and cake, but not the solid stuff. Hmm...can't stand cookies either because most of them have some form of chocolate inside.

Plain chocolate is bitter, milk chocolate tends to have so much sugar in it that it handles all the bitterness. I can't stand dark chocolate myself, same thing as what you said it's just horribly bitter.

White chocolate isn't chocolate at all. I think it's some sort of sugary mixture that has the texture of chocolate. Maybe thats why you don't mind white chocolate. ^__^

Dark chocolate isn't THAT bitter, but I agree, I like milk chocolate better than both dark and white.

Hershey's perfected the eating chocolate. That's my two cents.

Actually it's made from just the cocoa butter and not the cocoa solids, it still comes from the same source ultimately. More info (than you probably wanted to know) on Wikipedia. Smile

I think this depends on what amino acids you can taste, there's a very bitter one that not many people can taste, if you can taste it it's horrid. Dark chocolate is inedible to me actually. I also can't drink any tea (all of them are incredibly, disgustingly bitter, no matter how much sugar/etc. I put in them), which seems to be the same thing. I can drink coffee but only with tons of sugar and cream. Embarassed

You should try some Japanese chocolate. No, don't laugh, I've had swiss chocolate too (which is better than Hershey's) but the best milk chocolate I've ever tasted was some I bought in Japan. I bought several bars to bring home with me and wish I could get more. Too bad I've forgotten the brand name. Sad
