So I guess they're holding a performance to celebrate the fact that the Olympics will be there in 3 years...? Well, thought perhaps some BoA fans may be interested.

While I plan to be there in 3 years, I dunno about BoA songs in Chinese. The ones I've heard aren't all that great. >.>

Olympics in Beijing... I dunno. Besides political reasons, Beijing is a terrible city to be in. I was there a while ago and I vowed never to return because of the poor treatment I received at the hands of the locals (not to mention the really poor environment... I wonder if the athletes will need lung treatment afterwards). For example, getting to the airport an hour early... and getting mistreated by the airport personnel, causing me to miss my plane by about... oh, three hours.

I recall BoA was quite the accomplished singer. My friend says she did a song for Inuyasha once. So I assume she's no stranger to the world of anime either. I guess she's a good choice for the Olympics. Hey, it can't be as bad as say... what's-her-face that bombed last year at the Super Bowl.

Hmm... she also did a song for the Japan Rugby World Cup 2003 in Korean (Milky Way). For Inuyasha she did Every Heart ~Minna no Kimochi~.

BoA's songs are catchy, but I don't like her too much as an actual artist. She seems too artificial to me, and seeing how the Koreans are trying to make her into a cross-cultural phenomenom to "bridge old gaps caused by grudges" kinda sets me off.

I liked her one InuYasha song.

Hey, better then the ED before that one. That was horrible.
