Here's a good look at what the DVD+box will look like. (link)

Too plain. So this one gets pushed back til the next DDD sale or wherever cheaper I can find it in.

Yeesh, that box design is pretty underwhelming. Sad

If you wait long enough you can just get a thinpack set of the whole series. Wink (Yes I know that'd be years away.)

GSD Vol.1 only in March? o.O
Makes me less sorry I just finished the R2's. I was sure the R1 would start coming out long before I completed the R2's.
I wonder if I'll double dip the series, probably not if the box/case design will be anything like Mai Hime's.

Yeah I can't wait that long for a thinpack. So I'll do volume by volume, but skip the artbox Wink

I'll probably get the artbox, even though it's fugly Sad

Probably gonna wait awhile until the DVDs get cheaper though. I'm in no real rush to get 'em anyways.

oh cmon, if you pre-order vol 1, (sans artbox) it's only like 18.00, made even cheaper if you're a Got Anime member, which I believe you are.

Why wait!

Ack, I can't believe they're releasing a sorry looking artbox. Sad I'm dispointed. Oh, well. I wasn't much of a fan of the series anyway. Unless, of course, TRSI offers their 9.99 deals for the the v.1 + arbox type of deal. ;p

I wonder if it'll take gazillion of years before the thinpak arrives.

Ohh, ow, the My-HiME artbox hurts~

But were we honestly expecting much from Bandai (the geniuses behind the design of that rubbish Love Hina logo) and an anime title not from the Geneon beauty and spa centre?

Very few Bandai titles are able to get a place in the beerman DVD library, but My-HiME is a mega show and to revisit those lovely Natsuki moments in crisp DVD video I will wait for nothing and purchase it the day it releases.

Kannaduki no Miko's box didn't fare well either, and that's from Geneon.
