Fortunately for me there's only one girl from Mai-HiME that I like and that's Mashiro. Smile Most of the figures simply don't interest me at all. Very Happy

I thought Mai would make a good addition to my figurine collection, but I can't seem to find a statue that seems to fit her personality and style.

Some of the recent ones released or announced look good. I know there's one Mai w/ the Scarf of Justice (TM) that looked the best out of the group. Think the problem was it's like $90ish.

The $90 would be the problem. I need to save up for Ace Combat Zero. April looks like a bad month for me. Video game releases, preorders, and probably more eBay havoc.

I quite liked the Kotobukiya one, which is already out. The price is pretty reasonable as well. Theres a more expensive one due out soonish, but I don't like the pose as much (still getting it, though ^^Wink

Ah... I think that was the one I was thinking about. Then again, there's so many Mai figs out I'm not 100% positive.

Now only if they would have a reasonably priced and nice looking Natsuki figure. 'Cause there's no way I'm paying $100+ for the swimsuit version, no matter how awesome it looks!

You mean this one from MF? http://www.goodsmile.info/max060201.html

I like the pose but I wish the coloring was a bit closer to the Kotobukiya one. I feel the Kotobukiya one got the colors down perfectly. The MF one feels too light? Confused

It's only 6500yen, average price for a 1/6 scale PVC. Twisted Evil Just borrow Ace Combat Zero from your friends or something. Laughing

Or be patient and buy it used and save some money. Smile That'll also let you put off the purchase until another month. Razz

I tried buying it used with Ace Combat 05, and no store had any pre-owned copies until... oh, last week when I was at EBX! I finally had to eBay it for $32, and considering that Circuit City charged $39.99 when it came out...

Anyone seen this item before?:

*"buy it NOW!" finger itches*

I wonder when my Bell plush is coming... what's the Air Mail shipping time frame from Japan generally? 10-20 days?

So just wait till next paycheck and buy it new. Razz You shouldn't have a problem with that, you can always buy it online. Smile

See what happens when TokenAsian goes nearly a month without buying anime goodies? He goes nuts and buys everything in sight! Laughing

You got it by SAL? SAL's anywhere from 7 days to 3-4 weeks depending on the mood of the postal service (or some such variable). EMS should be right at a week.

I didn't buy everything in sight. I had some Sakura Taisen artbooks and AMG CDs that I held off on.

After Mar. 21st, my CC bill resets and all being anew...

For now that is. I'm sure you'll make sure they're in your posession in the near future. Wink

Just like the Matrix.

So TokenAsian's credit card magically resetting is a sign of a glitch in the Matrix? Laughing

That remind me, someone posted this in a Slashdot discussion:
I found the Keymaker in Los Angeles (Score:3, Funny)
    by Pfhorrest (545131) on Sunday March 12, @10:42PM (#14905030)

Once, in Los Angeles' Garment District, my girlfriend and I went
looking for a public bathroom and wound up finding the Keymaker from
    The Matrix.

We were wandering around streets, looking for anywhere that may have a
public bathroom, when we saw this congenial old nondescript Asian man
with suspenders and a zip-up jacket wearing a visor-hat that said
"Security". Kayla (the girlfriend) thought that perhaps he might know
where a public bathroom was, so she politely asked him. He replied by
pulling out this HUGE ring of keys, and said "follow me."

He lead us to a nondescript door on one of the buildings, unlocked it,
and inside was a long (albiet not infinitely long) white hallway lined
with doors. He lead us to an otherwise unmarked door, unlocked it, and
opened it into a little entryway room which had two doors inside it,
labeled "Men" and "Women". We used the bathrooms, thanked the old man
    and left.

I shit you not. The Matrix has you...
I think the appropriate comment to that would be "whoa". Wink
