It's still 1.0, but it's the FIRST "alternative" o.s. I find really useful even for "normal" users. Installation of software cant't be simpler, the GUI is the beautiful (a bit heavy, tho') KDE. |
I'll take a look at it sometime but I really wish everyone in the open source community would get over their love affair with KDE. I KDE, the virtual windows manager is horrid and to me that's extremely important! (I have a better VWM for Windows for crying out loud!) Sorry, just had to say it, I'm getting driven nuts by it of late.

No I understand that KDE has too much cholesterol. It has too much sloppy-sauce over it, and can slow down even a 4Ghz pc. Sometimes I work with minimalistic stuff like a fluxbox or XFCE. But they are, in contrast, too skinny...skeletal to make some kind of works. Winxp still has the edge, as for the GUI, even with its idiosyncrasies, imo. _________________ -Space general, you and not equal to I think severe

I had enough of these politicseses.
Oh my, sometimes I start laughing for no apparent reason when I think about this stuff...
Sadly, I can't share the fun around here because...nobody knows english enough to catch the humour.
Some of my friends would actually translate italian<->english in a similar fashion as this DvD
(And let's hope the Presbyterian Church won't catch us...) _________________ -Space general, you and not equal to I think severe

Someone posted a DVD image of the infamous "Backstroke of the West" on Usenet in alt.binaries.starwars on December 1st. If you know what Usenet is and have access to a server with decent retention you can probably still find it. |

Don't worry about it then, it was just a heads-up for those that know. Besides you're already taken care of with that DVD. |

To go along with that one:- You've lost all self control when it comes to shopping for anime goodies.

To go along with that one:- When you start giving said binary entities the personality of a cute magical girl.
