Well, seriously anime has been such a big part of my life that I can't imagine living without it, even 50 years later. I'd probably still be watching anime well into my 60's, if I survive that long Smile.

At the rate I've downloaded stuff over the years I'll have plenty of stuff to watch even if I don't keep getting new stuff when I'm in my 60s. Embarassed

@Byakko: It's kinda easy to solve that problem, marry an otaku wife Wink.

That's not easy, female anime fans, much less ones that would qualify as otaku, are few and far between still. Razz

I see a lot of female otaku these days. There just aren't that many sane ones out there.

Fear the ones who carry yaoi paddles and demand Pocky.

- Your mom has a talk with you, about the obvious fact you use ALL of your free space for anime/manga, making your room look even smaller then it really is.

I forsee Ren & Problematic (along with any others who notice your post) hunting you down to use as a punching bag. Wink

- People ask you about Bleach even though you don't know a single freaking thing about Bleach, and then they wonder why you don't watch Bleach since they know you are a rabid anime fan.

Go to a con and you'll see what I mean. Ever been chased by a yaoi fangirl for no apparent reason?

Ren and Problematic are obviously among the sane ones.

Unless takoyaki is involved. Rolling Eyes

Very Happy Hee. Now you gave me an idea for a bridal shower gift.

Oh, and here's one of my favorite images, ever. Yes, it involves the infamous paddle.

Ren thinks yaoi is yucky Razz, so if that puts her in the sane category, so be it! Heh.. but yes... I do tend to go a ... little.... crazy when takoyaki is on the line.

I had some on Sunday and it took rather long to get my order. Blood was almost spilled. But it came just in time Razz

That would have made an interesting headline, can't you see it now? "Local anime fangirl goes berserk in Takoyaki shop, 11 maimed." Laughing
