Just wondering, does anyone here still recall their C++ skills?
I'm trying to design a small personal use for a database app for DVDs, and managed to hit a little snag when it comes to actually committing the info to a dynamic array of a certain data-type, after reading from a textfile.
Oh yeah, thinking caps are off til late August. YES!!!! _________________ - Casual Observer - JPEG Labs - |

Couldn't find the one I wanted anyway.
I remember some very, very basic C++ but otherwise... no. _________________ Secretary of the Anime Club of Lehigh University (ACLU?)

Ish, though its been a while since I've coded in C++ - I spend most my time working in far older or more obscure languages these days ^^; |

now that i have thought on it a little more... i vote for use of vectors, strings, and .push_back stuffs... i think that should work... though, that does depend on the data being entered from the text file _________________ - fortune is fickle and blind, fate is ignorant and deaf...

hehe.. thanks for the tip. I forgot all about C++'s vectors. Should really cut down the code if I used those (currently using dynamic arrays -- which are really PITAs). _________________ - Casual Observer - JPEG Labs - |

Finished watching Amaenaideyo through. The "ending" episode. Seemed to show quite a bit. However, I do not complain. |

My crappy photo taking skills does not do the LCD justice! Insanely crisp and clear! Watching anime on it has totally rocked (i.e. Haruhi never looked better)! _________________ moyism.com | natsuki.us | haruhiism.com |
