Token Asian: "Let's get Area 88, it was a lot better than Top Gun. The male protagonist is a better actor than Tom Cruise anyway..."

*turns around to see Tom Cruise*

Token Asian: "Oh frack..."

*is clobbered by Tom Cruise*

Actually Mission Impossible looks down right tame next to the stuff going on in the ROD OVAs. Very Happy

What is it? The image seems to be gone off of 4channel's servers now.

Probably 4channel already detected an image leeching incident, so what everyone gets when clicking on Random Otaku's link is a 4channel.org image.

I was wondering if someone with an account at 4channel could give us the details on that image.. Confused

Generally you can view them but you need to copy the URL, then browse to 4Channel.org, then paste the URL into your address box and hit enter. That way it doesn't look like a leeching link to it (and it's not actually, you have to go to some trouble to view it so it's not hurting their bandwidth). In this case though it was just flat out deleted by the time I got to check the link (4channel's blocked at work).

/gloating mode

finally got a full weekend off from work. Spent today sleeping in for once and watched anime all day on da new TV. What made it really awesome was the fact I hooked up my 700m to it via s-video, so got some good-arse quality out of watching fansubs. Thanks to that, pretty much caught up with my backlog of watching... heh.

Air movie btw, wasn't bad. Different from the TV series (no clue how much it varies from the original game) but good nonetheless. One just has to get used to the camera techniques and s'all good. Still an sad ending though! (have to find the subbed version now to see how bad my understanding was)

Also watching Densha Otoko 6-8 on the WS TV was sweet as hell! Just being able to relax and watch it as if I was watching normal tv was great; seeing the usual antics of the show in "big" screen goodness just made it all the more better!

/end gloating mode Twisted Evil

From 1GHz, my computer is now 1.7GHz! Yes! I'm so high-tech! (sarcasm)

(noooo, I still have to install a hundred programs and tweaks...)

At least, I don't have to worry about high-quality raws that lag when played in my old computer anymore.

Ahh, well good luck, some of the larger ones, especially HD raws and H264 bog down on my computer sometimes even with an Athlon 64 3400+ and 1GB of RAM. Sad

That defilerpack helped a lot with the H264 stuff at least, but it introduced its own set of problems (such as BSPlayer seems to be mortally wounded, the system wants to use MPC instead and BSPlayer fails on some files with a strange error message. MPC will play them fine though) so I'm not so sure I'm totally happy with it. I had hoped we were past the days of installing multiple codecs and codec packs to get shit to play. Sad

On another system that's slower (1.5ghz and 512MB RAM) it broke playback completely. I uninstalled it but BSPlayer won't even attempt to play certain files anymore and reinstalling it didn't help.
