Bidding ends this weekend. We'll see...

Well, ours actually gets involved in stuff. I recall that she sent Japanese language students to our meetings for extra credit.

Watch anime and get +10 points on a quiz. Lucky buggers.

Nice, but the sad thing is how many of them probably failed to bother to come and get the extra credits!

Okay, time to go the moyism route.

There's always room in the poorhouse. Just like Kurumi with the rabbit cage from Pani Poni Dash, I'll always be there to welcome newcomers Wink

10kg ~ 20lbs of AMG goodies!?! Da heck... please post the link or tell us what exactly you're bidding on. No matter how I look at it, that's a lot of shiz. Heck it's like the weight of two newborn babies! dang...

Are you sure that's the best comparison given how Kurumi always ends up in there because no one can ever remember her name? It's like the depression house. Very Happy

It's probably getting close to the weight of a small goddess even. Wink

Honestly, I don't know how watching Excel Saga helped their Japanese... I have enough trouble understanding the title character in English.

I can't find the link right now, and I don't feel like logging onto Ebay while I'm using wireless, but I did save the pictures to my hard drive:

100+ Dark Horse comic books

Artbook and five OAV film books? I think...?

Music CDs, of which one I already bought from moyism

Mini-CDs?

Any thoughts of saving up for a trip to Chinatown are now thoroughly screwed.

I don't think Excel's supposed to be terribly comprehensible in any language! Smile

Man that's a nice bunch of stuff in one auction. Smile That last image may be trading cards of some kind, the packaging seems odd for mini-CDs (but I'm not an expert by any means). It could also be a pocket mirror, who knows without being able to read the tag. Smile

What was our other series that semester? Melody of Oblivion? I think that one would have scared the foreign language students.

"I went to get extra credit and was scarred for life!"

Honestly, I'm hoping for Belldandy toothpicks, just because it'd be funny to have.

Was it the execution, the flow of the story in the anime, that scarred them? Wink

Um, I think it was the "cow milking" at the end that scarred most attendees.

MoO was very very strange. Very good artwork but strange... I think Satoshi would have a grand time dissecting the series but for the average anime fan, it's a little hard to watch.

I'm sure there's meaning to the whole series, but let's just say that parts of it just distracted you from figuring it out... especially when you had to peek between your fingers. *laughs at that random guy in the back of the room last semester*

Hmm, well I think I'll avoid that title for now since I haven't seen it and have so many other things to watch. Smile

Hell, I have series I need to finish that I started watching years ago (while they were airing) and for various reasons never saw the ends to them. Shocked

There's free quiche at the Dean's List party...

*steals a handful so he doesn't have to pay for food this week*

You know, I STILL haven't finished Ah! My Goddess TV. And it's ME of all people.
