Heck yeah, it's good stuff. Though I do prefer Italian-style calamari for some odd reason when it comes to "tentacle monsters."

You forgot about Kero-chan and Suppi-chan from Card Captor Sakura. Don't forget they did an entire animated short for the 2nd movie about the two of them fighting over/chasing down the last takoyaki. Wink

It's really good freshly made, I had some in Japan. Smile

I first had it at a Japanese Night at the International House at the University I attended. You might want to see if any universities near you have an IH that does those types of things. Smile

I've not had either but I'm pretty sure deep frying a twinkie isn't going to improve its basic twinkiness. Laughing

Not quite in the same category but deep fried turkey is incredibly good. Had some of it last year at work's Thanksgiving dinner (that should be coming up this year soon, should be fried turkey again too!) Definitely not something I'd recommend eating often (you can feel your arteries crying out in protest) but damned good to have every once in a while. Smile

I've seen them cook the turkey on TV and it looks great. O_O I wish my mom would let us deep fry our turkey. =/

Anyways, that's nothing to your arteries compared to this:

I have yet to try this out with my family. xD

Shocked Looking at the images alone seems to clog my arteries. It must be good with a cold bottle of beer. Ahhh... Maybe I should try this one time.

Deep fried turkey plain rocks. I think someone is going to bring one at my work place's Thanksgiving party. We're going to have it this coming weekend. Heh, I love the fact that a lot of my co-workers are great cooks. Yum.

I don't think I'd recommend centering a dinner around a deep-fried Turkey, it's good but very, very bad for you. Very Happy Maybe you could talk her into you getting a small turkey and deep-frying it as a side dish? Smile

Ouch, that would definitely be bad for the body. I agree it sounds good except the egg part (I don't know, I might be wrong, I just don't think I'd like it with egg).

You could make it even richer (and possibly a tad healthier) if you used some filet mignon instead of the hot dog wiener. I've seen those served wrapped in bacon before. Smile

Actually I think the beer just deadens the nerve cells so the resulting heart attack isn't as painful. Laughing

I haven't heard when our Thanksgiving Dinner at work is yet, but I've already started asking (it should be this week or next). I'm NOT missing out on some deep fried turkey. Very Happy

*grumbles about grill being in deep storage and the lack of propane*

Okay, maybe there's a microwave version...
