This is the first in a series of blog posts I'm doing on what it was like growing up as an Asian.
For those of you here that are Asian, please contribute any anecdotes that you can. I could also use any funny images and the such that could contribute to the content (obviously all non-pornographic).

Definitely, some pretty out there stuff. I found the one about the broken chair leg a bit funny since it was apparently triggered by breaking said chair though. (I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time to anyone concerned however!) 
I like how the series is one post long so far.  Did you run out of time or still getting counseling due to the flashbacks caused by the last one?  |

The next one I'm working on compiling is "Things Asian parents did that drove their kids insane."
Don't invite over families with hot Caucasian girls in them... and then serve chicken feet!
