Well, her mom got her a subscription to "Anime Insider..."

(for our overseas bloggers, that's a kids' anime magazine with zero content)

Not like you're missing much. Wink

I haven't received an issue of my Shoujo Beat subscription yet, that's bugging me, I ordered it in December, thought I'd get January's issue first. Sad

Mine finally came last week then I had to rush to a bookstore to find the missing issue (they started me with March's). Fortunately the bookstore still had the issue I needed. Smile

I'm surprised Ciou Noi doesn't have a Shoujo Beat sub.

I'm surprised you didn't get the hint that she'd like to have one. Laughing

I got the hint... I doubt she'd appreciate it, though.

Me? Shoujo? Hah! I scoff at all things girly!

Although I really am a rabid Honey and Clover fan at the moment...

Sorry, I don't think I can quite match up to your level of spending. Ever.

I don't think I'd call it all "girly", some of it is certainly, but mostly it's the stuff other than the manga that's real "girly". Kaze Hikaru, Crimson Hero and Baby & Me aren't. Godchild really isn't. Absolute Boyfriend and Nana can be some though.

I don't think that's really "girly" either. Smile

Look on the bright side, he can't ever match up to Moy's level of spending, at least not till he wins the lottery. Wink

I refuse to play the lottery. I'm against being taxed any further than I already am. The money to pay for a lottery ticket can be shipping for... something.

I wouldn't mind so much on that standpoint since all the proceeds go to education (specifically college scholarships) but my luck is atrocious and I can't ever manage to even match more than one number. It doesn't take long before you just get sick of it, even if it does benefit education. Razz
