If you do go to SF, cross the Golden Gate Bridge to take pictures. It's really beautiful on the other side.

moyism, my coworkers are all female. I guess I didn't express my lack of enthusiasm very well. I'd give anything to have a guy to just shoot the breeze with. Okay, there is one guy, but he rarely comes.

(and yes, I like girls and only girls, it's just hard to feel aggressive at work, y'know?)

When you mentioned they were all females, a vision of you surrounded by a harem of ladies crossed my mind. =)

As long as it's not like the harem in the webcomic "Aoi House."

I haven't heard of that comic. Must check it out. Anyhow, I was thinking along the lines of traditional harem like Love Hina sans violence. ;p

How strange and fun. Last Friday, employees were encouraged to wear any Astros gear, except for the face painting and some inappropriate-for-work attire.

How do I stay sane at work ? I read manga.

Yup, I read manga to keep me busy, otherwise I would sink into that abyss hole called Boredom land.

Actually, I work with my dad and we travel a lot by car so between our stops I read manga and it's really cool that I'm able to do that cause at any other working place I wouldn't have been able to do that, that's the positive thing about working with your dad, heh. The negative aspect is that he doesn't pay me all that much, all that he does is pay for my monthly credit card bill and it hardly sums up for more than 250$, that's because my credit card limit is 250$, if I had a larger limit I would probably buy more and more and more...I think I can reach 5,000$ a month, but then my dad would probably tie me and feed me to the sharks. Anywayyy, working with my dad helps me catch up with all the manga I bought and haven't read, that's because I don't read manga during my off-work hours.

I'll trade you my health problems and you can even have my job but you have to take the health problems to get it. Wink (Now don't you feel better about being jobless? Laughing )

Worst job of all time: lifeguard.

Never work as one, contrary to what Hollywood says.

It's like... the kids know you're an otaku and want to kill you.

I worked at a 4-H camp one summer (as the woodworking counselor) and I learned a lot about how much lifeguarding sucks from the four counselors who were lifeguards. I have a lot of respect for anyone who'll lifeguard, it's a horribly thankless job most of the time. Sad

Well, it IS a nice job and all but I feel as if my dad's taking me for granted, that's why he doesn't pay me all that much, and I can't tell him "Hey, dad, pay me more" cause most of the time I read manga. I'm on the lookout for a new job, even a 750$/month would do, I can buy loads of stuff with that. I can buy like 3-4 figures, some dvd's and a lot of manga. Damnnnn, I need a better job.

And thanks for the warm welcome ^.^

A guy comes up to me today with a old-looking bike, leaves it near my "post" (A little table and a chair) and tries to enter the mall. I tell him that I can't allow anyone to leave anything near my post or near the entrance of the mall in general. He goes all "Don't worry dude, It's not like the bike is rigged with explosives. Don't worry you won't go (he throws his hands in the air) BOOOOM, hahahaha."
Gotta love the way some joke at the expense of their living-breathing "bulletproof vest". Really. >.>
