If you all want "Funny Asian Things" but presented in a much more mature light, I recommend at least checking out this newly formed blog community.

Well that's definitely different, glad there's a post explaining the Cantonese terms used.

We use "NWA" and "TWA" here.
(Not Work Appropriate and Too Work Appropriate, coincidentally both acronyms for airlines) _________________ Secretary of the Anime Club of Lehigh University (ACLU?)

I've only seen the NSFW one but I haven't seen it much, most of the sites I frequent don't have a need for such labels. I ran across it originally on Fark I think. Not sure I got tired of Fark and haven't been there in a few years now.
Thinking about the dual acronyms you provided along with having caught up with DCSS's fansubs I think NWA would apply to Aisia (at least her imagination, she has some rather perverted fantasies) and TWA would be for Jun'ichi. As Kotori said he's safe, too safe in fact. |

It's definitely worth it. I enjoyed the first season a lot too, although I got tired of the side stories. They were largely very strange.
I'm really enjoying Aisia in DCSS (good thing too seeing as how much screen time she gets). While she's definitely an airhead you can tell she really means it when she says she wants to make other people happy. That makes it hard to really dislike her.

I've managed to avoid watching it. I can't say I'm really that interested in it though so I doubt I'll ever bother. |

I'm assuming DCSS isn't out on DVD yet here in the US.
It has Grace Park in it, good enough for me. _________________ Secretary of the Anime Club of Lehigh University (ACLU?)

Umm, definitely not, DCSS is still airing. You mean Da Capo (the first season)? DCSS = Da Capo Second Season. Da Capo is also not out here on DVD yet, and it looks to be unlikely to get licensed at this point.

Ya the brother sister thing.... Don't think any company wants to deal with the press if some group made it into a big deal. Which is why I'm still looking for a good deal on the R2 Dvds. |

The American press makes a big deal out of everything.
Of course, that's the way the market works. In any case, it's us who decide with our money what's kosher and what is not. _________________ Secretary of the Anime Club of Lehigh University (ACLU?)

Well Koi Kaze got licensed and released here and from an incest standpoint it's far, far, far worse given how far that relationship goes.
I don't think it'll get licensed because it seems most animes based off of bishoujo games don't get picked up here. I'm not sure why, some of them are quite good without knowing anything about the game(s) (Da Capo for example). |

Of course they do, controversy sales. If people would stop paying any attention to the US news media when they start sensationalizing something then the press would stop. Until then though it makes them money so they'll keep doing it.

What's annoying is when the governement tries to pass laws to limit our choices. There are a lot of states (and even federal gov) passing laws about selling games to minors. Ignoring that there's really no concrete proof one way or another to support them harming/not harming children who play them (violent games, M rated ones basically) you really have to ask why they focus only on videogames when there are R rated movies far worse than the content of many M rated games. And let's not forget just how horrid the lyrics can be on those CDs that get a parental advisory label slapped on them. It makes it look like the politicians really don't care about videogames, it's just a good way to make themselves look good right now and they'll let someone else sort out the resulting mess they created. |

Lol ya forgot about that show. I guess your right about animes based off of bishoujo games. It be nice to get Kanon or Air over here in the US or To Heart. |
