Somehow, I see maid-themed cafes in the US either being mobbed or as the scene of riots.

Probably more they'd get picketed constantly by people claiming they were degrading women/etc. Sad

I didn't realize that it ended until recently myself. Well, I believe the manga is still going on, but the series is still going.

Ahh so the anime ended but not the manga? That makes sense.

Of course, this is the same country that says putting women in the military is degrading... *shrugs*

Well, they have to make money somehow... http://www.tsunamichannel.com/index.php?date=2003-03-11&comic=Parody

Laughing I'd forgotten that strip! I love Tsunami Channel, I still check it every day hoping he'll start back up. Smile

His Noir parodies are funny, even if you haven't seen the series.

His strip about Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan is hilarious. I can see Tsunami-chan buying Excaliborg to keep the professor in line. Wink

All the jokes about the main character having "Love Simulation Syndrome" are great too. Very Happy

For those curious this is a good starting place to see LSS in action.

I've always wondered about that... The name does sound a tad funny like that.

You know, I've always imagined some certain anime bloggers to be similar to Onii-chan.

I noticed that the first time I saw it written in romanji, poor guy. Smile I'm sure with kids being kids that anyone really named that would get teased horribly, even if the Kanji was different. Razz

That's not necessarily a bad thing, now if you'd said like Konstantin it'd be bad. Very Happy

Hmm, well I don't hate Konstantin, he's certainly good for a laugh. Smile His fear of catgirls is insanely amusing, especially considering how big a hentai he is. Wink

Not many people would get the joke.

Well, here's to hoping that Onii-chan will marry Haruna and settle down.

That's be nice, they'll have to adopt Kotone-chan though as I can't see her wanting to leave. Smile

You know, this strip could use some more guest characters.

Here's a surefire way to stay sane at work:

Throw up 4 times within the first hour, almost pass out at the fax machine, and get sent home. Confused

Or just throw up in the fax machine and get sent home... permanently?

Ahahahaha, maybe i'll try that next time. Our office could use a new fax machine... they'd probably thank me in the end.
