While checking Tokyo Tosho tonight I noticed a torrent for 11GB of H doujins. I knew there were a lot of hentai fans out there but even so an 11GB torrent of H doujins? That's insane!

I don't know what else to say about it, seeing that just blew my mind. Shocked

That is pretty large...

I'm certainly not up for that sort of challenge.

11Gigs full of Hentai?! Whoa.

Another topic:
Have you guys looked back at your life before being "hooked" into anime?

Being an anime fan for 7 years, I look back at what I have become, from being a mere watcher to a occassional collector of anime wallpapers, theme songs, and such.

I have come a long way. Confused

my sense of time and day is gone. it's work from 3:30pm til midnight (but usually ending up til 2:00am), 45 min drive back, 2-ish hrs online d/ling stuff and catching up on some things, sleep, get up before noon, usual online crap, shower, try to eat something, make "dinner" for work, and leave the house by 2:30pm. Rinse. Repeat. See moy get many of bags under his eyes Sad

Wow, just like my former Security Guard job. I feel your pain, hold on.
At least you get well paid, so there's an upside to it. ^^

Actually, we search for the best deals first, so it's not quite financial ruin...

More like... flying by the seat of your pants budget-wise.

So slightly planned financial ruin then? Wink

Hehe, choosing a life of poverty so you can have lots of nice anime & manga goodies? Wink

Heaven knows that I'm in the same boat there. Smile

You have to know your prices or you can get ripped off bad. I paid around $20 with shipping and all for that set of Ichigo Mashimaro Gashapon figures with the girls in the pajamas. There's a couple of those in eBay stores where the buying price is $50 with shipping $10+!!! Shocked

Annoyingly all the ones for the first set (with the girls in their bathing suits) are at that price range. I refuse to spend that much for them so I'll have to wait for a reasonable priced set to show up. Very Happy

Hmmm. So weird to see Tom Cruise in Best Buy browsing for some DVDs. Or at least, I think that was him. With the police escort, the limo, and all. Everyone's oblivious, though. Not his crowd. ;p Now, if it were a Joss Whedon sighting, I might go insane... ^____^

Anyhow, I grabbed a couple of anime goodies including a Pretear boxset and Samurai 7. Gorgeous artwork for S7, it even has accompanying storyboard collection for 4 eps.

Doubt you could get close enough to see what he was looking at but wouldn't it have been funny if he'd been browsing through the movies he starred in? Laughing

I was at the anime section (naturally) when he was at the same aisle looking through at the special interest section. The police was just hanging around one corner and the dude was just like a regular costumer. I didn't even realized it was him (although I noted his, um, prettiness) until I was about to leave the store when he and his escort were at the entrance.

Kinda strange seeing him in this part of Houston, though. The best part of this is that I have a new anecdote to share. >_<

Now THAT would have been something.
*you speak out loud*
"What should I get next? Hemz.."
"Why not try ROD OVA? It's just like Mission Impossible...just with books!"
*you turn around to see Tom standing behind you*
Oo
