I think he means the original ones with the Pepto-Bismol color.

But those (in the picture) are better. Probably has a lot more sugar too.

I personally prefer dried shredded squid ^^

Especially the spicy variety...

The added advantage, it's chewier than Pocky so it lasts longer

Hmm me thinks there was some connection too. As for sake candy I haven't tried it yet, maybe this weekend I'll track some down

There's a trick to squeezing and sucking those to get it all out in one bite. Fun stuff! I think they were discontinued because it was a choking hazard or something.

Thankfully, I have four of the big tubs stashed away. Wink

I don't think it really was a trick per se. You just kind of figured it out yourself within the first couple of tries.

You sure about it being dis-continued? I remember seeing them a few months back in some asian food market...
